Chinese Back to Exhibitions

one step forward it would be too over and deep, one step backward it would be too astringent; that let loose the imagination is often the medium of charm. Being a mountain or an ocean, being a fact or an illusion, being reality or virtual-reality…once it is surpassed, the classics emerges.

Looking to the right, you would always be curious about what's on the left; chin-up to look upwards, you would always be sentimentally attached to what's downwards. How about the medium? The center of medium is always forgotten while gazing around.

As a matter of fact, upon the moment for the first brushstroke, the outcome is already there. All the beauty and the horror are hided behind the medium cannot be covered up. Only with the nuance between heart beats, the invisible medium is able to be seen.

The charm of art is always boundless and speechless for interpretation without any association with geography, space, time and nationality. In this exhibition, there are twelve artists, and twelve scenes and styles of great momentum. What cannot be see through at a glance, read with your heart, tow with your emotion, think with your brain, and worship with your instinct. For paintings and artists, without being crazy and insane, it cannot reach ecstasy. Always wondering over the boundary between insanity and sensibility, and ceasing abruptly right on the critical point before gone out of control, the spirit of painting and artist is thus preserved in soul-stirring condition. Trekking alone over thousand miles, having no sense of belonging; one step forward it would be too over and deep, one step backward it would be too astringent; that let loose the imagination is often the medium of charm. Being a mountain or an ocean, being a fact or an illusion, being reality or virtual-reality…once it is surpassed, the classics emerges.

Those masters have created the clues of the medium long time ago. Did you see it, the center of the medium?
