Ala Aureus

A long time ago, human beings were born from the seeds of life planted inside of the earth. After time had passed, a ‘hope’ was born among the human beings. That ‘hope’ grew larger and larger until it was unable to be contained inside the human’s mind. Therefore, it left the human body and floated on the river of time. The pieces of floating hope flowed into the vast sea, where they pulled each other closer and created an increasingly enormous mass.

Soon, the mass developed a hard shell to protect itself from the endless threats of beings. Beings that lost hope, beings that did not know. Inside of its protective shell, all the different hopes were entangled, mixed together, and became a cocoon which was able to create various parables.

As time went on, the surface of the cocoon was covered with rich forest and lush valleys. It became a home for where the good people lived. They called it 'The Island'.

One day, The Island, which at first seemed hard inside its cocoon, bloomed open, and beautifully shining golden wings emerged. These newly transformed wings would fly over the sleeping people at the clearest moment of dawn when the moon had disappeared and only the stars shone brightly. After listening to their dreams, the wings would return to the cocoon. The wings, filled with imagination, dreams, and hopes, would connect themselves to the heart of the cocoon and share them.

In the depths of the island, the cocoons heart collected pieces of those dreams, hopes, and imaginations, and healed itself and began to shine brilliantly, and thus conceived new golden wings, night after night.
